ABOUT US

The National Association of Buffalo Soldiers and Troopers Motorcycle Club, Inc. was established in October of 1993 in Chicago, Illinois. Since it’s inception, the organization has grown to over 100 chapters throughout the United States with the ideals of fostering safe motorcycling, promoting charitable deeds through scholarship and community service and actively supporting National Charities whose operations are in keeping with regulatory guidelines of the 501 (C) (3) Internal Revenue Service tax code. The organization is made up of professional men and women whose careers range from current and former law enforcement officers, active and retired military service members, medical and executive professionals as well as business owners. Members ride “Iron Horses” and volunteer their personal time to (1) pay homage to the brave sacrifices of the Soldiers of the 9th and 10th Cavalry Regiments (2) promote the enjoyment of motorcycling and fellowship and (3) educate society on the contributions of African American Soldiers both past and present.

PRESIDENT

Greetings and welcome to our webpage. It is an honor and a privilege to serve as the President of the Buffalo Soldiers Motorcycle Club of Northern Virginia. We are a proud organization of professional men and women from various walks of life. Our motorcycle club is comprised of Active, Retired and Veteran Law Enforcement, Military and other productive citizens of the community in which we serve.

Our focus is to be of service to our community. We have visited many schools and community events with the purpose of educating them about the rich history of the Buffalo Soldiers and promoting safe motorcycle riding. We provide scholarships for our high school seniors and provide school supplies as part of our “Back to School” initiative. We assist a local food bank as well as provide holiday meals to those in need. These are just a few activities we are involved in within our community.

We wear the colors and ride under the name Buffalo Soldiers to commemorate the Pride, Respect and Dignity of those brave African American Soldiers of the 9th and 10th Cavalry. We welcome you to explore our site and offer thoughts, comments and reactions that you think might help us with our mission.
